December brings some new additions to the Hideaway!

Hello everyone!  Welcome back to the Hideaway Ranch and Refuge blog.  The first week of December has already brought a lot of exciting news and changes.  Our tepees have arrived and we set them up to try them out.  They are going to be a fantastic addition to our accommodations.  We will have our first tepee ready for guests sometime in January.  The first tepee will be a little more "rustic".  It will contain cots, bedrolls, and a fire pit, but that is about it.  It's going to be perfect for you adventurous folks who want to r...

y get back to nature!  Our second tepee will be ready soon after that and will be a little more "glampy" than campy.  It will have a queen bed and a litttle more "splendor".  Both of them are going to be a wonderful way to enjoy the nature and serenity of the ranch.  There is nothing like listening to the nighttime sounds of nature while gazing up at the stars through your smoke hole!

In keeping with the "Refuge" part of our name, we just adopted a new buffalo calf!  She looks like she has a damaged horn, so I think we shall name her "Little bighorn".  Rosebud (our other buffalo) has already adopted her and is taking good care of her!  We will post updates here on our blog routinely as well as pictures.  You can also check out  our facebook page for additional photos.
