September/October 2021 Things to do

As the weather begins to cool, we've compiled a list of things to do in the area! 
Of course, on the ranch, you can always fish, hike on our trails, watch animals, gaze at stars and RELAX!

We recommend these nearby places for fun excursions:
1.  Fossil Rim:  This drive thru wildlife park will not disappoint!  Make sure that you buy your tickets online BEFORE you go.  They offer self guided tours (in your own vehicle) or public guided tours (in their vehicle with an employee tour guide).  

2.  Dinosaur State Park

3.  Eagle Eye Carriage Co. offers horseback riding in Dinosaur State Park.  Call ahead of time to schedule a ride.

4.  All month, Granbury Theatre will be performing plays that you will not want to miss!  Check out their schedule and buy tickets.  They perform at Granbury Opera House.

5.  Bluffdale Vineyard and Bull Lion Vineyard are located near us!  

6.  Sledge Distillery is only a 12 minute drive from our ranch.  They are open every Saturday night.

DINING Recomendations
We love Blackies Gas Stop (located only 4.5 miles away) and Riverhouse Grill (in Glen Rose).  If you're looking for a cozy place to grab coffee & a pastry, try Crave (in Glen Rose).
