Partnership with Clean The World

Have you ever wondered what happens to your used soap bars & plastic shampoo bottles after a hotel visit? Think about it. There are 4 billion hotel rooms worldwide. If half of those rooms were booked last night, that means there could be 2 billion used soap bars and shampoo bottles headed to a landfill today. Yikes!

Because this problem keeps us up at night, we partnered with Clean the World. This amazing organization collects used soap bars and shampoo bottles from over 8000 hotels. They take these slightly used items and give them a second life. After a thorough sanitizing/recycling process, Clean the World creates hygiene kits that are delivered to places around the globe stricken by poverty or homelessness. According to the World Health Organization, hundreds of thousands of lives could be saved with access to a bar of soap and hygiene education.
