Gift Certificates and New Year's Eve Dinner
It’s your favorite four-legged resident here, Rupert the Basset Hound, live from The Hideaway Ranch. I thought I’d take a moment to paws (get it? Paws?) and reflect on what a busy but wonderful holiday season it’s been here on the ranch. The place has been hopping with activity, and I’ve had my paws full, but it’s all been worth it. I’d like to thank all of the amazing people who chose our ranch for their special events this season. You've made it a memorable one, even if it meant extra work for me (someone has to supervise, after all).
First up, we had the Glen Rose High School choir visit for their holiday gathering in our rec room. Oh, what a treat it was to hear them sing! While I’m partial to my own voice (it’s rather deep for a hound, if I do say so myself), there’s something magical about the sound of a full choir belting out holiday classics. They even had a karaoke session afterward, and let me tell you, it was paws-itively fun. Some of them were better singers than others, but I’m not here to judge. I was too busy enjoying the energy and, let’s be honest, hoping for some scraps to fall from the dinner table and the s'mores outside at the firepit.
Then came the lovely sorority group from Tarleton University! They had a great time mingling in our rec room and celebrating the season with a cozy gathering. While I did my rounds, checking for food crumbs and giving them all my best Basset Hound gaze, I couldn’t help but notice what a fun bunch they were. The holiday spirit was in full swing, and I made sure to offer my services as the official party greeter. Who could resist this face, after all?
Here's your reminder to get your Hideaway gift certificates, too! It's the perfect gift for the family member who has everything. You can buy them on our website in any increment & they are emailed immediately.
But what’s a holiday season without a big finish? That’s right, it’s almost time for The Hideaway Ranch’s New Year’s Eve Dinner! ?
Join us at 7 PM on December 31st for an unforgettable evening of live music, delicious food, and a champagne toast to ring in the New Year! We’ve got a sizzling steak or salmon dinner lined up (my humans say it’s delicious). It’s going to be a fantastic way to wrap up the year, and I’ll be there to ensure everything goes smoothly.
So, mark your calendars, folks, and bring your party hats (and your appetites) — I’m looking forward to ringing in the New Year with you all. As always, thank you for choosing The Hideaway Ranch for your events, and I hope to see you at the New Year’s Eve bash for a toast, a tail wag, and a year of new memories. Give us a call to reserve your spot (254)823-6606.
Wags and licks,
Rupert
